My name is Kim Midgley and I have been in the hospitality industry since 1982 working in places such as the Paddo Tavern, Newmarket Hotel, and managing Ice Bar Clayfield and Teneriffe. My husband and I owned and operated the Crown Hotel in Charters Towers for six years and Anchorage Motor Inn at Caloundra for two years.  The Midgley family has had hotels in Roma, Longreach, Winton, Rollingstone, Emerald, Stonehenge, Esk and Ingham.

Opening Night finally arrives!

The operating philosophy at the new 4017 Bar and Grill is simple - quality food at reasonable prices, fast and efficient service and an atmosphere that is welcoming and friendly.  Our staff are well trained and expected to always meet my high expectations to keep customers feeling they are known and valued – a secret ingredient in country hospitality!

We hope you can join us to see what Paul has done with this grand old building that means so much to the people of Sandgate.  Hopefully you will be impressed enough to make us your regular gathering place with friends and family.  I know I’m looking forward to getting to know you.
